9/11 is still such a vivid memory for me. I know where I was, what I was wearing, where I ate for lunch and who I was with. My company lost people in the towers that were there for a conference. People I was surrounded by got calls from family that were fleeing the building. They made it out.

A few weeks later, U2 played Beautiful Day and MLK and Pride (In the Name of Love) as part of the Super Bowl entertainment.

Beautiful Day was joyous and empowering, a fist in the air, but MLK into Pride broke me. Seeing all those names.

Music can make a different in this broken world. I only hope it's not too late.
